Prof Emmanuel Osedeke: ASUU NEC Meeting Ends, Anxiety As Union Set To Brief Press Monday Morning
The meeting by members of the National Executive Council of the Academic Staff Union of Universities on Sunday has ended, Campus Catch NG has verified.
The discussion which lasted about 5 hours was aimed at the union settling for either a suspension of the over 6-month strike or resolving to a total and indefinite action.
Speaking to Journalists after the meeting, the ASUU president, Prof Emmanuel Osedeke said the union would brief Nigerians on what the NEC decided on Monday (Tomorrow).
When asked if students should expect a positive news this time around, Osedeke replied, “I don’t know. They will find out tomorrow.”.
